Optimized Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)
To cut NOx emissions with minimal impact fuel economy, the MBE 4000 takes super-heated exhaust and sends it back through the engine, where it's water-cooled and routed back to the intake manifold. Then, the aftertreatment system's filtration process cleans the exhaust before re-entry into the atmosphere.

Staying on top of things at all times is a given with advanced DDEC VI electronic controls, the newest version of Detroit Diesel's breakthrough monitoring and management technology. Using sophisticated diagnostics and analytics, the DDEC VI system monitors and reports any changes in your rig's operation so you can react quickly and confidently.
